Dr. Kerry Gillooly-Collins, DVM
Dr. Kerry Collins, born and raised in Iowa, completed her undergraduate and veterinary training at Iowa State University. After graduating in 2003, Dr. Collins stayed in the Midwest practicing as a small animal and equine veterinarian in a small Illinois town for 2 years. After realizing that her passion was for small animal medicine and that she desired year round warmth and sunshine, she relocated to Tucson, Arizona in the summer of 2005.
Dr. Collins has practiced in Tucson since 2005 as both a critical care/emergency and general practice doctor and joined the Northwest Pet Clinic family in November 2012. She has completed additional training in veterinary dentistry and is passionate about providing dental and oral care for her patients. Dr. Collins also enjoys caring for pocket pets (rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, and rodents). Additional interests include internal medicine, preventative care, and soft tissue surgery.
Dr. Collins loves Arizona, where she met and married her husband, Sean. Their “kids” include a three-legged German Shepherd (Lily) and a Chihuahua-Maltipoo (Oliver). In their free time, Dr. Collins and her husband Sean enjoy hiking, running, road biking, and have completed several triathlons.
